Day 1

Travel Day and Relax Day - Thursday

** Prior to arriving at out first meeting spot make sure to have eaten breakfast. or have breakfast with you **

8:00 AM - Meeting spot: Murphy USA Gas Station (14375 Lincoln St Thornton Co): Here we can fill up on gas if you haven’t already and fill up on snacks for the drive. There isn’t any good places to stop in the middle of our trip for lunch, so I suggest we drive straight through to our destination and have lunch there (so get enough snacks). I would like to be on the road and ready to go by 8:30 AM.

8:30 AM - 2:00 PM The Road Trip: Here is the address of the house 21235 Crestview CT Lead SD, 57754. The drive is a pretty standard drive from Thornton, through Wyoming and up into the Black Hills of SD. We will all be in contact with one another if we need a potty break or make a quick stop if Devin needs to put more mousse in his hair, we can stop along the way.

2:00 PM Lunch: We can have lunch as a group in Lead, SD (the city we are staying in) There is a cool little burger/beer spot about 5 mins from the house that will give us enough time to eat before we are allowed to check into the house.

3:30 PM Check in: Once we are in the house I figured we would all get settled in and explore the house and I am sure Cecil will have to unpack all of his CSU polos.

Go Into town to get food supplies for the weekend: At some point during this evening we will have to go to the store and get some food, supplies that wee need for the weekend.

Dinner and Deadwood: We can decide as a group if we would like to make a dinner at the house or head into town and grab dinner. I figured we would probably head into Deadwood this night and do some exploring but the following day is Mount Rushmore so we wont want to be up/out to late.

Day 2

Mount Rushmore - Crazy Horse - Keystone Friday

We will be gone the majority of the day, so make sure to prepare yourself and your families for everything you might need need for an entire day away from the house. Wear comfortable shoes, as we will be walking quite a bit during this day. (Extra clothes, snacks for the drive, Jorge’s chest camera and backup batteries, etc…)

8:00 AM Breakfast: We can get up and make breakfast at the house the kitchen is fully stocked with everything we would need to make any type of food. I heard Yanis makes a killer chilaquiles.

9:00 AM On The Road: Its about 1.5 hours to drive to crazy horse. If we need gas we can stop somewhere on the way. We will most likely be taking the same convoy for this entire day.

10:30 AM Crazy Horse: For those who don’t know about Crazy Horse there is a link you can follow to their website to learn more about this historic memorial. Cost: $30 Per Car of 3 Persons or more. There will be a ton of exhibits and self guided tours we can sit through and spend as much time as we please there.

Mount Rushmore: The drive from Crazy Horse is about 25 mins back to Mount Rushmore. There is NO ENTRANCE fee, but you have to pay for parking which is $10 Per Vehicle. Once inside there is also additional self guided tours that we can follow throughout the park.

The City of Keystone and Lunch: This city is really cool, it feels a lot like Deadwood and rooted in history. There is a ton to do in this city. I will post a link that you can look to see if there is anything you would like to do. There is a alpine slide, helicopter tours, putt putt, arcade and plenty of shopping and food. With our group being so large it would probably be best to split up for lunch in this city, some of the restaurants were smaller and I don’t know if they could accommodate 20+ people for lunch.

Drive Back to The House: Once everyone has done they have wanted to do, I think we pack up everything and head back to the house again, a 1.5 hour drive back home.

Open Evening and Dinner: At this point is where we could decide as a group how to proceed. We could split of into groups or stay at the home. We could go into Deadwood, it would be a Friday night so maybe a little more lively, we could just spend time at the house. There is where feedback would be awesome.

Day 3

Full Open Day - Saturday: This is the only day we have yet to discuss. It our most open day. So I will leave this blank. There is golf, UTV/ATV tours, hiking, explore other parts of Black Hills or we can just sleep in relax and go to the heated pool. This is our day!

Day 4 - Travel day and return home: We have to check out by 10:00 AM. I would like for everyone to help me follow the check out guidelines, which would require cleaning, dishes etc.. Once we hit the road we can grab breakfast at a little diner on the way out that is DELICIOUS or we can just head back home.
